Please use Reading Eggs everyday to help your child learn to read, as your child continues to make progress there are more and more reading books on there for them to try. We are looking forward to seeing everyone's progress this week! Phonics 2.6 ck and u
Today for our phonics session, the children will need some phase 2 sounds we have covered so far. Please practise recognising these sounds, saying their letter name and the sound it makes. Towards the end of the session the children the children will be asked to build some words using some of the letters and try and have a go at writing a sentence. They will need some paper, a pencil/felt pen and the following sounds cut out like mine in video 3 to build some words. The letter sounds we have covered so far are as follows;

Please print off the tricky words I, the, no, go or grown up's could make some tricky word cards by writing them on paper. Why not play tricky word snap with them or stick them up around your house to spot throughout the day. Maybe you could practise writing them too! Please send me some pictures of your fantastic phonics home learning!
