Progression to Pedals

At the start of every session we speak to the children about the importance of wearing a helmet. Helmets MUST be worn at all times to protect themselves should they fall off.  Every child is encouraged to have a go at fastening their own helmet (this encourages them to use their fine motor skills).  If they are struggling they ask a friend to help.  We also show them where the brakes are, what they are for and how to use them safely.  The children go at their own pace and are encouraged not to race one another - but most off all they have FUN.

Please make sure you wear a helmet when you are riding your bike.

Session 3 - Friday 14th May

🚴🏽‍♀️🚴🏿‍♂️Myself and Mrs Miller are so proud of all the children 🚴🏿‍♂️🚴🏽‍♀️.  Each week there confidence is growing and they are really trying hard.

We have a few children who are already pedalling and lots of children who are nearly there.  Keep up the good work. 🤩
