Parents and Carers: Encourage your child to listen for the beginning middle and end sounds in each word and attempt to write them down. If they only hear the beginning sound or end sound in each word then encourage them to write that down and write underneath what they attempted to write, remember words spelt as they sound are absolutley fine, we are not looking for perfect spelling at this stage. If your child struggles to form their letters try writing the letters for them in a light coloured pencil or felt tip and get them to copy over your letters.
