Child illness for parents
At St Stephen's CE Primary School, we understand the importance of ensuring the well-being and health of our students. As parents and key partners in your child's education, we appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all.
Reporting Absences
If your child is unwell and unable to attend school, please inform the school office as soon as possible. You can report your child's absence by calling 0161 330 3818. It is important that you do this each day the child may be absent due to illness so we are aware of how they are doing.
Resources for Parents
There are government guidelines for schools and nurseries about health protection and managing specific infectious diseases at GOV.UK. These say when children should be kept off school and when they shouldn't.
