Watch the video and then follow the Bitesize lessons for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. As an extra challenge, create a poster or mind map to show some synonyms and antonyms for the words ‘nice’ and ‘happy’ by using the skills you have just learnt.

Wednesday 20th May – English Subordinating Conjunctions
Watch the video and have a go at the activities including making some silly sentences. Then, follow the link to the Bitesize daily lessons for more information and activities.
Can you make a list of contractions - two words which have been combined to make one word. Can you put them into super sentences? Remember your apostrophe should show me where the missing letters are.
What are adverbs? Watch this video and have a go at writing your own sentences that contain an adverb. Try and link your sentences to our Romans topic.

Children's Mental Heath Week
We looked at times when we have had to 'Find our Brave' during Children's Mental Health Week.
We thought about how we feel when we need to show bravery. We wrote key words inside our letters which are now on display in our classroom so we will always be able to find our brave.

Thursday 3rd October was National Poetry Day and in Year 3 we created poems in the style of The Gruffalo. Here are some of the poems we created in our groups. Can you guess what creatures we are describing?
