The Storm Whale in Winter
We have been enjoying the story 'The Storm Whale in Winter' by Benji Davies. We have been using our tales toolkit symbols and props to retell the story. We have been thinking about the story setting and how is is different to where we live. We have been exploring the ice and describing what it is like. We then experimented with different ways of getting the characters out of the ice.
Nov 23 Divali
We have enjoyed finding out about Divali the 'Festival of Light'. We have have explored firework patterns, made clay Diva lamps, drawn Rangoli patterns and created ribbon dances to traditional music.
Autumn Patterns October 23
We have been busy creating some Autumn Patterns inspired by the artwork of Andy Goldsworthy.
